Often it is not possible for an injured person to generate an emergency call themselves.
It is for just such cases that the Office 160Safeguard was developed, with an integrated man-down alarm (i.e. the device is not in its normal vertical carrying position for a specific period of time) or a no-movement alarm (the device remains still for a particular period of time) which automatically initiates an emergency call.
A short, local pre-alarm, which can be deactivated by the user, ensures that false alarms are avoided. A manual emergency call can be triggered using the large alarm button on the top of the unit.
