A wealth of functions
Call manager: Central operating element for the setting up, accepting and clearing of calls, for the definition of the presence status as well as direct access to the repeat dialing list, call diversion, journal and telephone book.
Presence display: The up-to-date telephone and presence status of other subscribers is always visible via a colored icon. As an option, synchronization with the Microsoft Exchange Server is possible, whereby the presence status or the presence profile is always compared with Microsoft Outlook.
Telephone book: Storage of all available address books and personal contacts. User-friendly search and sort functions lead you quickly to the desired subscriber. Using the optional linking to Microsoft Exchange all contact data can be read directly into the telephone book from Microsoft Outlook.
Journal: Clearly laid out list of all calls, text messages, voice messages and fax messages that have already been received. For individual entries a notepad is available.
But the Aastra OfficeSuite is capable of even more:
- Dialling using a hotkey - using any freely definable key combinations, calls can be accepted and cleared directly from the computer keyboard.
- Using the clever highlighting function, calls can be made directly from a document.
- The OfficeSuite is not just able to connect to a fixed system terminal, but a connection can also be made to an additional cordless telephone – it switches automatically to whichever telephone is currently in use.
- Even greater convenience can be achieved by linking it to Microsoft Outlook®: Using the Exchange Connection* the calendar and absence display are connected.
